Yaya Toure waters down touchline misunderstanding
Manchester City star Yaya Toure has exclusively
told GHANAsoccernet.com he did not clash with
manager Pep Guardiola after footages emerged of
him having a conversation with his boss minutes
before he came in.

Yaya who has only returned to the Manchester City
team after months of being frozen out was a late
substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Chelsea over the
weekend.

An own goal from Gary Cahil was annulled by goals
from in-form Diego Costa, William and Eden Hazard
for “The Blues”.

But as ever the relationship between Pep Guardiola
and Yaya Toure was again the talking point after
footages emerged of him being instructed to return
to his seat after he appeared to have been called
by one of the technical men.

“It was really nothing it was an instruction
from the boss to get ready and come in,” Toure

The defeat to Chelsea was the first Pep has
suffered at home in the league after taking over
from Manuel Pellegrini in the summer.
