Kotoko host Lions as title chase continues
An eleven-point gap might look quite a massive
lead for Asante Kotoko but with nine matches to
go, the twist and turns of a very competitive
season could derail their ambition.

Kotoko play Heart of Lions in the top-liner on
Wednesday in the First Capital Premier League on
Wednesday as six other fixtures are lined up
across the country.

The Porcupine Warriors have dropped six points in
their three games and the signs are clear that
they will need a consistent run beginning with
their game with the Kpando side in Kumasi to win
back-to-back titles.

Contender Hearts of Oak will look to further
enhance their own credentials when they take on a
top-four contender, AshantiGold at the Accra
Stadium.

At the Essipon Stadium, Bechem United's hopes of
finishing amongst the top-four sides faces a stern
test when they play home team, Hasaacas.

It's another meeting in four days for Inter Allies
and Berekum Chelsea after their FA Cup showdown
which the former defeated the latter on Sunday.

This time, both sides will clash at the Tema
Stadium where Inter Allies will continue to push
for premiership survival.

Boosted by the big win over Kotoko, Liberty
Professionals will travel to the Gyamfi Park with
much confidence as they seek to maintain their
winning run against New Edubiase.

In Dormaa, Aduana Stars, caught in the relegation
zone and with a game in hand on the other sides
struggling at the bottom ranks of the table take
on King Faisal, who are five points above the drop
zone.

Basement side, Ebusua Dwarfs entertain Amidaus
Professionals at the Robert Mensah Stadium to
complete the midweek round of matches.
