Ayoola end 2013 without scoring a goal
Despite a goal-rush in the final round of matches
for 2013 in the National Women's League, there was
still no luck for debutants Ayoola Ladies.

With four defeats from four outings, Ayoola's
problems continued as they lost 5-0 to Lady
Strikers over the weekend in the penultimate
fixtures for the first round of the competition.

The defeat extends their winless run in the league
as their goal deficit also shot up to 28 goals
with the competition in the Southern Division yet
to record their first goal.

Hasaacas Ladies surrendered top spot to Police
Ladies who ended the winning run of the champions
by a 4-1 victory.

Diana Ankomah scored a brace for the Police side
before goals from Mary Berko and Josephine Boateng
capped a great win as Samira Sulemana got a
consolation for Hasaacas.

Soccer Intellectuals shared the spoils with
Immigration Ladies in their 1-1 drawn game.

Fabulous Ladies found the back of the net ten
times as they recorded their biggest win with a
10-0 thrashing of Oforikrom Ladies in the Northern
Division.

The goal-haul was spread amongst just four players
as Agnes Aduako scored five times.

Florence Annor Fosua and Priscilla Okyere both
grabbed a brace apiece with Anita Amankwah scoring
a goal.

Ashtown Ladies were too sharp in front of goal as
they managed a 4-1 win against Sharp Arrows while
Prisons were 2-0 winners over Ampem Darkoa.

Police Ladies 4-1 Hasaacas

Ayoola 0-5 Lady Strikers
