Assifuah denies Sion move
Godfred Akoto Boafo and Ebenezer Assifuah today at

Ghana and Liberty Professionals striker, Ebenezer
Assifuah has denied signing a four year contract
with Swiss league side Sion FC.

The player who according to various media reports
had flown to Switzerland to complete the deal is
still in Accra.

In an interview with Citi Sports editor, Godfred
Akoto Boafo, Assifuah said ‘’all this rumour
about me going anywhere is not true; I am still a
player of Liberty Professionals and as you can see
I am still in Accra.’’

‘’I only went to Kumasi and Takoradi to visit
my family, I have only been training with Liberty
since I came back,’’ he added.

Ebenezer Assifuah ended up as the top goalscorer
at the just ended FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey and
has become one of the hottest commodities in world
football.
