MPs divided over 'stinking' GYEEDA report
Some Members of Parliament are divided over
whether government must publish the investigative
report on the alleged financial malfeasance at
GYEEDA.

President Mahama who received the report some days
ago has promised to firmly implement the
recommendations.

But that does not seem to sit well with a member
of the special budget committee of parliament Ano
Dompreh.

In an interview with XYZ News the Member of
Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyir stated that the
refusal of the President to order the publication
of the report smacks off attempts to cover up some
fishy deals exposed by the committee.

“I can see some variables not linking and for me
the conclusion I can draw is that after the
investigation the rot is so bad that they are just
trying to buy time and possibly manipulate the
report” Hon. Dompreh said.

But another Member of Parliament Kwabena Mensah
Woyome disagreed with the assertions of Hon.
Dompreh.

“We would definitely go to the bottom of this
matter and make sure that the due processes are
followed and do things properly.

“Because if you are not careful you may end up
destroying businesses and later find out that
certain allegations are not really what it is”.
