‘Blessings will come down at Harvest Praise 2011’ – Rev. Benjamin Dube
The South African songwriter, singer, and music
producer, Reverend Benjamin Dube, has promised an
amazing spirit-filled experience of blessings come
good Friday April 22, at this year's Harvest
Praise 2011.

Reverend Benjamin Dube, who is currently in Accra,
made the prediction when he spoke to Jessica Opare
Saforo, host of Citi FM's Brunch in the Citi
programme on Thursday April 21.

Rev Dube, 49, founder of High Praise Centre in
Johannesburg, noted that Ghanaians should come
highly expectant of a shower of blessings
indicating “when praises go up, blessings must
come down and that is what we expect”.

Reverend Dube said he was born into a Christian
family, and "got saved and accepted Jesus Christ
as my personal saviour at age 14. In 1986, I gave
myself as a full time minister of the gospel of
Jesus Christ and I’m a leader of High Praise
Centre and a founder of the church, but over and
above everything, Benjamin Dube is a
worshipper”.

He added, “I really usher God into the place and
bring people into the presence of God and I always
say to people that God would never call a meeting
unless he has an agenda”.

He advised persons who are still undecided about
Harvest Praise 2011 that “this is not the time
to wait for something to happen, this is the time
to initiate your blessing and you have to stir God
up so that he can do something for you, you have
to act on what God has said.

"When you act, that’s when God releases and
that’s when you receive. Don’t wait for people
to tell you what happened, be part of that which
is going to happen. Don’t miss out”.

Some Ghanaian gospel artistes expected to thrill
the audience include current gospel music queen of
the airwaves Cecilia Marfo and platinum record
holders - Daughters of Glorious Jesus. The
Evergreen Harvest Gospel Choir will be in their
full crowd-stirring element with their usual
vigorous and infectious praise – a favourite
hallmark of the Good Friday Gospel show.

The illustrious Harvest Theatre group is also
expected to dominate the stage with charismatic
choreographic performances to showcase west
African gospel music drama to their South African
counterparts.

Harvest Praise 2011 is slated for Good Friday
April 22, at the Dome, Accra International
Conference Centre.
