Kofi Adams

Kofi Adams spews garbage whenever he speaks – Mills Boy
Outspoken and acerbic tongue NDC activist, Samuel
George, has taken the spokesperson for the
Rawlingses, Kofi Adams to the cleaners, chastising
him for remarks he allegedly made in a recent
interview with international media giant,
Bloomberg, that if elected as President of Ghana,
Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings will prosecute
corruption in the Mills Administration.

He described Kofi Adams’ comments as unfortunate
and added that “it is sad when Kofi Adams comes
on radio or on-air to spew garbage”.

A report, quoting Kofi Adams, and published on
Bloomberg’s website on Thursday April 14, stated
that the former First Lady and a leading contender
for the NDC flagbearership race would open her
eyes into several deals undertaken by the Mills
Administration, especially those concerning the
country’s fledgling oil industry and the
controversial STX Korean housing deal.

“If elected, Agyeman-Rawlings will seek to
prosecute corruption in the country’s oil
industry and may try to renegotiate a $1.5 billion
agreement with South Korea’s STX Corp to build
30,000 houses for the country’s security
services,” Adams said.

Though Mr. Adams claims he has been misrepresented
since what was put out was not what he actually
meant, Samuel George went haywire and verbally
skinned the NDC Deputy General Secretary alive.

Setting the records straight e-TV’s Breakfast TV
Newspaper Review, the Deputy General Secretary of
the NDC and spokesperson for the Rawlingses
maintained that he had been quoted out of context.

However, contributing to a panel discussion on the
same platform, Samuel George was emphatic that
recent remarks by Kofi Adams is indicative that he
and his pay masters are a bunch of confused
people. Clearly incensed, the NDC activist sought
to find out what the foundation of the former
First Lady’s campaign message will be in the
unlikely event of being elected flagbearer of the
NDC.

As he turned his verbal abuse on Kofi Adams and
the Rawlingses an octave higher, host of the
programme, Bismark Brown, tried to assert his
authority and instill some modicum of refined
speech into the discussion, but all to no avail as
Samuel George refused to retract his statement.

According to him, it is an undeniable fact that
the spokesperson for the Rawlingses is noted for
his foul language and occasionally spews garbage.

“It is sad when Kofi Adams spews garbage at
times…anybody at all is liable to spew
garbage,…but nobody can tell me Kofi Adams never
spews garbage. …I cannot withdraw that statement
because I did not mean he always does but you
can’t tell me Kofi Adams has never done that,”
he insisted.

The host, however, had to unceremoniously truncate
the programme as the trend of the discussion
turned unmannerly and offensive.
