Their real names; Eugene Boadu Baah as the ‘Choirmaster’ or ‘Praye Honeho’, Stephen De-graft Fiawo as ‘Praye Tietia’ and Christopher Nana Kwame Asare Koranteng as ‘Praye Tintin’

Praye, the most consistent
Praye has generated radio, TV and internet buzz
since they emerged. Their danceable songs are
undeniable.

Eeeeeem Kaywa//naw ibi Broomx Entertainment
yooow//, they say is their new record label after
passing through series of managements since they
became champions of the Nescafe African Revelation
(NAR) musical competition both national and
international some years back.

Their real names; Eugene Boadu Baah as the
‘Choirmaster’ or ‘Praye Honeho’, Stephen
De-graft Fiawo as ‘Praye Tietia’ and
Christopher Nana Kwame Asare Koranteng as ‘Praye
Tintin’.

They became the first and youngest Ghanaian
musicians on the Lisarf Music record label to have
won a KORA award with their first album titled
‘Mfitiase3’ (THE BEGINNING) in which they fed
their fans with hit songs like ‘Shordy’,
‘Lasupadora’, ‘Efie Ni Fie', ‘Jakoo’,
etc.

Appeitus first-rated them to be part of his
‘Appeitus Compilation Volume 1 in which they
contributed the hottest single that drove the
compilation to the top, ‘RUN RUN SOMETHINGS’
others also call it MAKOMA which bagged them more
awards. The second album, “THE BOMB” featured
the best all stars collaboration of all time which
was the remix of the song, ‘Jacket’ and also
had hits like ‘Katsiremi’, ‘Magbo’ and so
on.

“ROLL KOLL 2008” was the third album and it
comprised of songs that liberated the minds of
music productions from the studios in Ghana.

The song that introduced the new breed of music in
Ghana was ‘ANGELINA’ and Kwame Sefa Kayi’s
favourite, ‘WODIN’ produced by Zapp Mallet.

‘WONKOAA’, ‘TETE BOTAN’ featuring Lady
Prempeh, the project song for ZOOMLION, and a
couple of hits were on that album.

“We try as much as possible to bring the best to
our fans, consistency and uniqueness”, said
Choirmaster.

“We fall under the roof of afro pop and the
hiplife category and our style is called
‘KASATO’, where we sing as if we are rapping.
It has really created a big impact on most rappers
in GH now.

"There should be a little rhythm in the rap so we
can desist from trying to sing and sound like
Nigerians. Nigerians are original in their
melodies, accent or language and unique with their
beats that’s what we have to do than to ‘copy
copy’", he continued.

Their new album “THE 4TH GEAR” confirms their
consistency and hard working skills which also
comes with new ideas and a new record label -
Broomx Entertainment which they are the CEO.

As part of some of the new things, they have
joined alliance with another energetic and strong
group from Guinea called ‘Dege Force Tra’ for
a sanitation song for Africa titled ‘Souna
Ghetto’, as part of some of the projects they
will be embarking on an inter tertiary tour on
soon.

Their newest album has 16 songs and features Kwaw
Kese, Amakye Dede and a couple of underground
artistes.

Already fans are enjoying three singles titled,
‘New Dance’ or ‘Getu Gege’,
‘Independent’ which is already an anthem and
‘Dzigbordi’, the girls favourite.

They handpicked engineers like Jam Master Jay,
Appietus, Kaywa, Killbeatz, Gideon and Beatz.

For the next two or more years to come, God
willing we will be invading the world like
termites with no fears, “Roll Koll 2008” was a
lineup of love songs but “4th Gear is a lineup
of party songs”, their manager said.
