One dead, two in coma, others injured in gory accident
One person has been confirmed dead in a gory
accident that happened on Sunday at Okyereko
junction on the Winneba – Kasoa highway in the
Central region.

The two others who are said to be in coma due to
the severe injuries they suffered are receiving at
the Winneba Specialists and Trauma Centre.

Some of the passengers who sustained minor
injuries have been treated and discharged from the
hospital.

Baah-Acheamfour reported that the accident
involved two Sprinter Benz Bus with registration
number AS 7393-16 and GG 2006-16.

The accident occurred when an attempt by a golf
car to overtake on a narrow stretch forced one of
the sprinter buses to veer off hitting the side of
the other sprinter bus.
