National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku

Sammy Awuku grabs chieftaincy title
The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic
Party (NPP) Sammy Awuku was on Tuesday installed a
chief under the stool name Nkosuohene Okorodwaref

According to reports received by mynewsgh.com, the
Nkwatia Benkumhene, Nana Baah Oware Santrowade II
conferred the title on the youth leader who played
various roles in his party’s December victory.

The Benkumhene,I it is gathered said he and his
elders were inspired by Mr Awuku’s courageous
demeanor of being a strong voice for the voiceless
-before, during and after the elections.

“Your messages and activities gave hope to the
hopeless and I admired you for putting your
precious life on the line for the sake of
Ghanaians. The youthful exuberance demonstrated
got Ghanaians especially the youth to appreciate
that ensuring the right things done was a shared
responsibility and not the job of politicians
alone. Therefore, there could not have been a
better reward from the traditional council”, he
stated

Mr Awuku was full of praise for the chief and his
elders for the honour done him saying that little
did he know that he was being watched as he moved
around craving for brighter opportunities for
youth development.

Per his new portfolio, he has a duty to ensure
that the youth of Nkwatia are focused, determined
to turn around the fortunes of their town through
development.
