Ablekuma West NDC parliamentary aspirant vows to unseat Ursula Owusu

The aspiring National Democratic Congress(NDC)
Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West,Mrs Diana
Twum has vowed to dethrone her rival and incumbent
MP, Ursula Owusu and win the constituency for the
NDC for the first time.




Mrs Twum popularly referred to as “Dynamic
Diana” by members of her constituent believes
she has what it takes and the support of the
electorate to win the seat for the NDC.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Graphic,
Mrs Twum noted that having lived in the
constituency for over three decades she is
prepared to execute her developmental agenda even
if not elected.

“I have registered over 1500 kids in the
locality on the National Health Insurance Scheme,
instituted over a 100 girls into the Indomie
catering job and mobilised funds for the
rehabilitation of major roads in the
constituency”, she told this paper.

The multi-lingual educationist who owns a
childhood educational facility, Kiddyland Nursery
School at SSNIT Flats in Dansoman told this paper
her sociable and affable nature makes all and
sundry comfortable with her.

According to her one major problem in her
constituency which is lack of motorable roads
would be addressed if elected.

She enumerated some areas with bad roads as Glefe,
Opetekwei, Gbebu, Mansralor, Ham down, Otojor,
Akweibu with its accompanied poor drainage system
and pledged to fix it.

“Much as I cannot promise to do these roads
from my own resources, I would ensure that all
these roads are fixed, resurfaced with better
drainage system”, she stated.

She stated that she is passionate and committed
about the development of Ablekuma West and would
leave no stone unturned at ensuring that it is
well developed.

Mrs Twum appealed to the electorate to vote for
her come November 7 as she would be an MP for all
and would be apolitical in dealing with every
member of the constituency.
