Teacher wins SG-Ghana “Power of 250 Re-loaded” promotion
Societe Generale-Ghana, on Friday held its grand
draw for the “Power of 250 Re-loaded” with the
ultimate prize of GH¢125,000.00 going to Suleman
Zachariah, a teacher of the Islamic Senior High
School (SHS) in Kumasi. He saves with the Adum
branch of the bank.

Ruben Larbi-Duodo of the Accra main branch and
Benjamin Amanor of the Madina branch won GH¢
30,000. 00 and GH¢ 10,000.00 respectively.

There were consolation prizes for other winners
which included Electric Kettles, Blenders,
Microwave Ovens, a 150 Liter Refrigerator, a twin
tab Washing machine, a 32 inch LED digital
television set and a Samsung galaxy S5 mobile
phone.

The draw, supervised by an official from the
National Lottery Authority, marked the end of two
successful phases of the Bank’s campaign to
reward customers from May 27 to August 22, and
September 15 to December 14.

Suleman who was not present when the draw was held
shouted in ecstasy when he was told about the good
news on phone.

He said he had always thought such promotions were
for the affluent in the society who could afford
to deposit huge sums of monies into their
accounts.

“Though I was depositing with the hope of
winning the ultimate prize I did not believe it
was possible,” he revealed.

Suleman Zachariah commended the Bank for being
genuine, generous and loyal to its customers, and
encouraged the public to cultivate the habit of
savings to help them in times of difficulties.

Managing Director, SG-Ghana, Gilbert Hie said the
draw is part of the bank’s commitment to become
a relationship-focused bank by reacting to the
demands of customers.

“We at Societie Generale-Ghana believe in team
spirit so we work hand in hand with our esteemed
customers in order to achieve our unique goal of
making it the bank of the 21st century focused on
customer satisfaction.”

Mr. Gilbert Hie congratulated all the winners and
those who participated in the promotion and urged
them to maintain the culture of saving for a
guaranteed future.
