Ghana defender Alhassan returns to Italian Serie A side Udinese for next season
Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan has been named in
Udinese’s official squad list for the 2013/14
season.

The 20-year-old joined Udinese in January in a
co-ownership deal from Genoa.

Alhassan spent most parts of last season on loan
with Italian Serie-B side Novara.

His consistent performances caught the eye of the
Stadio Friuli outfit who made an offer to sign him
outright.

Genoa however were unwilling to part ways with the
Ghana international for the money offered
resulting in him moving in a co-ownership deal.

Even though the deal was sealed in January, there
was an agreement to allow the left-back continue
with his loan stint at Novara to aid his progress
as a young player.

Udinese now believe the Ghanaian is ripe for first
team action in the Serie-A and have thus named him
in their squad for the upcoming season.

Alhassan has already started pre-season taining
with the Zebrette and has also been included in
the list of players to embark on a training camp
in Arta Terme from Sunday.

He joins compatriot Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu in the
list of 35 players pubished by the club over the
weekend.

Udinese’s official squad list for 2013/14
season:

Goalkeepers: Zeljko Brkic, Ivan Kelava, Wojciech
Pawlowski, Simone Scuffet.

Defenders: Masahudu Alhassan, Gabriel Silva, Dusan
Basta, Igor Bubnjic, Andrea Coda, Maurizio
Domizzi, Naldo Gomes Pereira, Thomas Hertaux,
Danilo Larangeira, Giovanni Pasquale, Neuton
Piccoli, Silvan Widmar.

Midfielders: Jadson Dos Santos, Emmanuel Badu,
Bruno Fernandes, Matias Campos Toro, Andrea
Lazzari, Allan Marques, Alexander Merkel, Frano
Mlinar, Roberto Pereyra, Giampiero Pinzi, Abdou
Sissoko.

Strikers: Antonio Di Natale, Reginaldo Maicosuel,
Luis Muriel, Mathias Ranegie, Emanuele Rovini,
Matej Vydra, Piotr Zielinski.
