Iddrisu Musah Superior, MCE for Tamale

Musah Superior endorsed as Tamale MCE
President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominee for the
Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) Chief Executive
position, Iddrisu Musah Superior has been fully
endorsed by all the Assembly Members of the TMA in
an election on Friday March 16, 2017.

Just after the polls, Musah Superior stated “the
Tamale Metropolitan Assembly just confirmed me as
the MCE with 100% vote.”

In his post endorsement statement, MCE-elect said:
“I have always believed in the uniqueness of our
purpose, and I have always endeavored to extend a
hand of friendship, gratitude and collaboration
with people I work with, movements I belong to,
and to persons who repose confidence in me.

“First of all, I am grateful to Allah for his
endless mercy and favors. Secondly, I wish to send
my undoubted gratitude and appreciation to the
President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for
nominating me for the role of Mayor of a city I
grew up in, and have grown to love, cherish and
revere. The president did this with benefit of the
knowledge he has about my competence, and I am
assuring and reassuring him of my commitment to
deliver excellently.

“To my family, I can never be grateful enough
for your support and endurance all these years.
Special thanks to my loving wife, and our
wonderful kids.

“The Chiefs, clergy and clerics, the elders,
youth, formal and informal institutions within the
Tamale Metropolis have been exceptional with the
warm reception they extended to me since I was
nominated, and through every step of the way. I
cannot thank you all enough.

“To the delegates who have gathered today to
finally legitimize my role, I wish to assure you
of my cooperation, and collaboration as we work to
build a great Metropolis. I shall count on you all
in every step of the way, and I trust we will be
working in an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect
and dedication to sustainable development.

“Thanks so much. God bless our homeland Ghana,
God bless Tamale Metropolis and God bless you all.
Thank you.”
