NPP's Parliamentary Candidate Appiah-Kubi Exposed
The Parliamentary Candidate for NPP in Asante
Akyem North, Andy Appiah-Kubi has been exposed by
his party incumbent Member of Parliament Hon.
Kwadwo Baah Agyemang.

The National Commission for Civic Education
organized their debate which precedes every
elections for parliamentary candidates and this
year's was held today, 21st October, 2016 at the
Community Center. The candidates who participated
were, Mary Awusi who is contesting of the ticket
of NDC, Andy Appiah-Kubi for NPP, Ernest Owusu
Bempah for NDP, Emmanuel Adama for CPP and Samuel
Anyan-Kusi an Independent Candidate.

The debates covered various platforms of the
society and the community specifically the Fulani
menace, Education, Health and other social
intervention programs.

When the NPP Candidate was asked how he's going to
address the health needs of his people when voted
to represent them in Parliament, his response
surprised the audience when he alleged that he's
not going to misappropriate funds allocated for
health development for the community and share
with his cronies as the MP did. His allegation
sparked the NPP supporters who were around to call
the MP, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang who wasn't at
the programme at that particular time to drive in
and respond to the allegations by his Party's
Candidate.

The MP set the records straight by outlining what
he used his NHIS Fund for during his term as the
Member of Parliament since January 2013:

1. Purchase of an Ambulance for Juansa Health
Center, the hometown of the NPP Parliamentary
Candidate, Andy Appiah-Kubi.

2. Building a Clinic facility at Wioso to serve
the Meenam-Wuraponso-Wioso Community which is
ongoing and would be completed by next month.

3. Supporting various health screening exercise
organized by various associations within his
Constituency.

4. Purchase of flatscreen TV for Agogo Hospital
OPD.

5. Supporting various health advocacy campaigns
organized by the district health service

6. Completed the extension works (roofing and
furnishing) of Akutuase CHPS compound

The audience couldn't wait for the MP to end his
revelations, those who for the first time heard
this development and contributions by the MP
started applauding him and Andy Appiah-Kubi
realizing he has been exposed, signaled his
supporters to hoot at the MP, an act which
attracted the fury of some supporters of the MP
who were at the venue of the debate and this
brought the program to an abrupt end. The presence
of the police couldn't terminate the
disorderliness of the audience.

The moderators for the program who were
disappointed at the behavior of the NPP
Parliamentary Candidate didn't concealed their
displeasure after initially cautioning him that
the way he was signaling his supporters to heckle
anyone who tried to speak was very distasteful.
One of the moderators of the program, a Reverend
Father of Agogo Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Father
Matthew Adusei Poku who wanted to intervene to
calm the nerves of Mr Andy Appiah Kubi was met
with rejection and the PC snubbed him n walked
over him and left the Community Center
unceremoniously.
