Stop Your ‘Loose Talk’-Kofi Jumah to President Mahama
A firebrand of the opposition New Patriotic Party
(NPP) Maxwell Kofi Jumah has taken President John
Dramani Mahama to the cleaners for what he
described as his ‘loose talk’ on internal
affairs of the opposition New Patriotic Party
(NPP).

He charged the President to desist from throwing
dust in the eyes of the public.

President Mahama during his tour of the Northern
region, accused the Flagbearer of the NPP Nana
Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo of causing confusion
amongst party members since his election to lead
the party.

But speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo,
hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, Mr. Jumah wondered why
someone of the president’s caliber would go
on an insulting spree.

The Former legislator charged the President to
concentrate on solving issues bedeviling the
nation, intimating that the NPP is a more focused
party working hard to win massively at the
December polls.

He claimed the President is diverting attention
from his inefficiencies.

The Former Deputy Minister of Local Government and
Rural Development warned President Mahama to stay
off NPP members and their internal issues,
wondering why the President is bent on dragging
his office into the mud.

Kofi Jumah advised President Mahama to desist from
taking over the work of serial callers, urging him
to act in a way that befits his position.

‘Instead of President Mahama accounting to the
people on what tax payers’ money are used for,
and measures put in place to solve pertaining
issues bedeviling Ghana, you are meddling in NPP
affairs, he should stop his loose talk. He should
pay attention to matters affecting the citizenry
and his own party, elderly people do not talk this
way. Stop the serial caller job, talk and behave
like an elderly person,’ he fumed.

He rubbished claims by the President that Nana
Addo is a dictator.

Touching on suspension of NPP members, he said the
ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the
worst culprit.

‘If he is basing his argument on the suspension
of some party members, then the NDCs should have
collapsed long ago, since the inception of NDC
after every congress, their members leave the
party. Talk of Frances Essiam, Nana Konadu Agyeman
Rawlings and host of NDC defectors, the President
should be the least person to comment on disunity,
what does he term as disunity, he should work hard
to change the fortunes of Ghana,’ he asserted.

He said intemperate language by politicians
especially the president does not augur well for
the nation.
