Acting IGP John Kudalor Major shake up hits Police Service There has been a major shake-up in the Ghana
Police Service, as the Acting Inspector General of
Police John Kudalor has announced new changes at
the top hierarchy of the security service.
A statement signed by the IGP Friday stated that
COP Rose Bio Atinga, Director-General/
Administration is now the Director General ,
Research and Planning at the National Police
Headquarters.
COP/Mr. Prosper Kwame Agblor is now the Director
General/ CID National headquarters while DCOP/Mr.
Ransford Ninson, Regional Commander/CR has moved
to Director General/Medics, National Police HQ/
Accra.
The changes which takes effect December 1, has
affected as many as 29 people at the top hierarchy
of the administration.
Other changes include COP David Asante Apeatu who
was Director General Research is now the National
HQ as Director General ICT.
Director General of the Motor Traffic Department,
DCOP Awuni is now the Eastern Region Police
Commander while COP Seidu Mohamadu Zakaria who was
Director/hospital now becomes the Director General
Medics at the National Police HQ, Accra.
Director General Public Affairs, DCOP Nenyi Ampah
Benin would now head the Police Investigations and
Professional Standards Bureau (PIPS),
Superintendent Cephas Arthur has also now been
confirmed as the Director of Public Affairs.
