Akufo Addo Promises First Class Government For Ghanaians
Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, the New Patriotic
Party (NPP) flag-bearer aspirant says the party
has competent human resource capable of providing
first class government for the country.

He said Ghana was now looking for people with
experience, expertise and skills, who could work
to resolve the current socio-economic problems,
created by the National Democratic Congress (NDC)
government and would put it back on the path of
growth and development.

He said what was needed now, is for the delegates
of the party to give him one more chance to lead
the party and win the 2016 elections to enable him
to put in place a competent team that would
provide the needed leadership to turn the country
around.

Nana Addo stated this when he addressed party
delegates from all the 47 constituencies in the
Ashanti region, in Kumasi, as part of his campaign
tour on Friday.

He said the better Ghana agenda promised by the
NDC had collapsed and the country was now in
disarray.

Nana Addo said Ghanaians were now looking up to
the party to elect somebody capable enough of
bringing all the party members together to win the
2016 elections to redeem the country from its
present economic mess.

He said the party had learnt great lessons from
the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling, and that,
the party was now putting all the experiences
together to ensure that it won the 2016 elections
at the polling stations.

Nana Addo thanked the party delegates for always
rallying behind him and said the greatest honour
he has had in his life was the presidential
candidacy of the NPP.

'What we need now was for all party members to
unite and commit themselves to work hard to
recapture power in the 2016 elections.'

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2012 running mate of Nana
Addo, said the country was in serious economic
mess due to bad governance and the incompetence of
the NDC government.

Ghana, he said, needs a decisive, visionary and
committed leader, who is capable of putting
together a team of experts and capable hands to
redeem the country.

Dr Bawumia, said if the NPP wanted to win the 2016
elections, then there would be no need to
experiment a new presidential candidate since Nana
Addo was capable of winning the elections.

All the regional executive members, constituency
chairmen, Members of Parliament (MPs) from the
region and national executive committee members
from the region, endorsed Nana Addo at the meeting
and pledged their unflinching support to him in
the special delegates' voting on August 31, to
render the October 18, national delegates
conference a mere formality.
