Muhammad Ali truly ‘the Greatest’ – Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama has expressed
sympathies at the passing of boxing legend
Muhammad Ali.

Ali, born Cassius Marcellus Clay, died on Friday,
June 3, a family spokesperson confirmed.

He was nicknamed ‘The Greatest’ due to his
exploits in the noble art of self-defence.

Ghana’s leader took to Twitter to pay tribute to
the three-time world heavyweight champion,
endorsing him as “our hero”.

“Sad to hear the passing of Muhammad Ali,”
President Mahama tweeted on Saturday, June 4.

“He was our hero and truly ‘the
Greatest’.”
