Elorm Adablah aka EL

I’m single and searching — E L
Multiple award-winning artiste, EL may be on top
of his career and blessed with great looks,
appropriate swag to match his soaring fame, as
well as hordes of adorable female fans.
But it appears he is not hitting the right notes
with ladies and had revealed he is an eligible
bachelor still in search for his queen.

The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year admits he
has not been a successful suitor and stresses that
he is not in a romantic relationship with TV star,
Berla Mundi, who has been a close friend.

“What most people don’t know is that I have
been very single for the past two years and I have
been searching hard to find the right lady to
marry,” EL told Showbiz in an interview on
Monday.

The Koko hitmaker said fame had made the choice
of the right partner from a bevy of adoring ladies
a difficult choice for him, and he wants to avoid
making a mistake by rushing to give his heart to
any lady who might turn out to disappoint him
later.

“I have dated some few ladies in the past and I
don’t want to make any mistake by just going for
any girl who would disappoint me later. And with
my fame, it is difficult to know which lady is
genuine,” he told the Showbiz.

Ironically, the elegant EL would not settle for a
lady of a similar stature but rather prefers to
date a beautiful, smallish lady.

“I normally prefer a petite girl I can throw in
the skies and also turn her around anytime I want.
When I am dating, I go all out and, therefore,
very careful in choosing,” he added.

Despite being rumoured to be dating Berla Mundi,
EL admitted that the beautiful GHOne presenter was
just a close friend.

“Berla is beautiful and people think we are
dating, but we are just good friends.”

EL, whose hit song Me Naa Bo Po won the Afropop
Song of the Year, among three other awards, is
eyeing another record by winning back-to-back VGMA
Artiste of the Year at next year’s awards gala.

“I want to set a record as the artiste to win
the VGMA Artiste of the Year back to back and that
will happen next year.

“ Thanks to my management team who work so hard
to get me all the right contacts to keep me up
there,” added the artiste who asked his numerous
fans to watch out for the release of his latest
album, Bard 3, which features some of the best of
Ghanaian and Nigerian musicians.
