Algeria star man Brahimi admits Ghana is biggest obstacle in Group C
Yacine Brahimi admits Ghana is perhaps going to be
Algeria’s biggest threat at the 2015 Africa Cup
of Nations.

The North Africans are in the same group as the
Black Stars along with South Africa and Senegal.

Christian Gourcuff’s side has been tipped as
favourites to win the tournament following their
fine display at the 2014 World Cup and the hot
form shown during the 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

Ghana star Andre Ayew however believes the Black
Stars are rather the team to beat in the
proverbial group of death.

Brahimi appears to be sharing the same sentiments
but wants his team to prove doubters wrong with
their performance on the field of play.

“The only way to respond is on the field,” he
said.

“Now Ghana for me in the past five years has
been the best team on the continent, but you know,
a game everything is possible.

“From my side, I will go to the CAN and we’ll
see.”

Algeria will face Ghana in the second group game
in Mongomo on January 23.
