South Africa Ambassador Lee Ocran is charging
members of the National Democratic Congress to
remain disciplined as the party prepares for
election 2016.
He believes this is the only way the party can
survive efforts by opponents to divide their
front.
In a statement to congratulate the party’s newly
elected regional executives, Ambassador Ocran
said: “We have been able to surmount these
challenges because of party unity and discipline
and urge all to continue to exhibit these noble
attributes to ensure victory 2016.”
Adding: “The party has remained solid, as
election machine over the years, despite the
machinations by our opponents to sow discord among
our grassroot supporters.”
He called for unity within the rank and file of
the party to ensure victory in the upcoming
elections.
“As a party in government, the people's hopes
depend on us. Hence the need for victors and
defeated candidates alike to come together and
work for victory in 2016,” the statement said.
The NDC would go to congress next month to elect
new executives.
Ambassador Lee Ocran is contesting for the Vice
