NPP Polls: Akufo-Addo ‘Letter’ causes anxiety at polling centers A letter purportedly signed by NPP
flagbearer-aspirant, Nana Akufo-Addo, is
reportedly creating discomfort in some polling
centers in the party’s ongoing presidential
primaries.
According to Starr News’ Emmanuel Gbikpo
delegates who voted in Ashaiman in Accra are given
the letter accompanied by an undisclosed amount of
money after voting.
There are similar reports of such nature across
the various polling centers in the country.
141,000 delegates of the main opposition New
Patriotic Party are voting to elect a leader to
for the party in the 2016 election.
The three candidates battling for the slot are
two-time flagbearer of the party Nana Akufo-Addo,
former Minister of Trade Alan Kyerematen and
Legislator Francis Addai Nimoh.
