Black Stars hold final training session ahead of Mali friendly
Black Stars Coach Avram Grant took his team
through their final training session on Monday
evening ahead of Tuesday’s international
friendly against Mali in Paris.

The Black Stars lost 2-1 to Senegal in an
international friendly played in Le Havre, France
over the weekend and are set to play their second
test match against the Eagles.

21 players took part in Monday’s training
session with defender Jonathan Mensah out due to
an injury he sustained in Saturday’s match
against Senegal.

Kick off time for tomorrow’s friendly match is
6:30 pm at the Stade Sébastien Charléty.

The two matches in France were arranged for Coach
Avram Grant to observe some players who are
excelling for their clubs while keeping the squad
in shape ahead of the qualifiers for the 2017
Africa Cup of Nations.

It is also to help the technical team to
invigorate the squad for their future assignments.
