Ashgold maintain 100 percent record in 2014/2015 season
Obuasi Ashanti Gold secured yet another win in the
season after beating Chelsea 1-0 at the Len Clay
stadium on Sunday.

Benard Morrison’s 47th minute goal was enough to
give Ashanti Gold the maximum points in the Match
Day three game.

The midfielder converted from the spot just at the
end of the first half to give the Miners their
third consecutive win of the season.

Morrison himself took his personal goal tally to
two, after he also scored for the Obuasi based
side in their season opener against Great
Olympics.

Ashanti Gold will now go into their next game
against Medeama with the aim of extending their
winning streak and maintain their position on top
of the league table.
