Ackah On Assignment: More Sickening Revelations On Media Committee
Chairman for the Presidential Commission of
Inquiry into the Brazil 2014 World Cup Justice
Senyo Dzamefe has instructed Mr. Ackah Anthony to
produce an alleged text message from Mr. Yaw
Ampofo Ankrah when next he appear before the
Commission on Thursday.

Giving his testimony to the Commission on Monday,
Mr. Ackah Anthony, President of the Sports Writers
Association (SWAG) who happened to be the Chairman
of the media committee claimed that they were not
giving the chance to work professionally and cited
how Gocell got the nod to established the Ghana to
Brazil website at the cost of around GHC 27000.

"My lord during the presentations I was personally
got wowed by the performance of Soft Cliq but I
later received a text message from Mr. Yaw Ampofo
Ankrah who was not present at the meeting telling
me that his brother who happened to be the
minister then favours Gocell to Soft Cliq."

"My lord we were not just allowed to do our job.
For instance, we had a Public Relations Officer in
the media committee but when the time came for us
to do our presentation, Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah
brought in a lady by name Dentaa to do it on our
behalf and I recall this got some of us mad to the
extent that Mr. Christopher Opoku who was our PRO
threatened to resign."

"My lord it will interest you to know that we as
media committee members were not even invited to
the launch of the website."

"We had no hand whatsoever in who was supposed to
go to Brazil although we were supposed to handle
the media. For instance, it was at the last minute
when I was told that 3 slots had been allocated to
SWAG," he added.

"Mr. Ackah thank you very much for honoring our
invitation but before you appear before us on
Thursday I'm giving you an assignment, please
don't forget to come with the text message which
you claim the minister's brother sent you
concerning the choice of selection," Justice
Dzamefe told him.
