Princesses hope for third-straight World Cup appearance
Ghana's hopes of a third-straight appearance at
the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup reaches a decisive
moment with the final round qualifiers this
weekend.

The Black Princesses are away in Malabo for the
first-leg of the last round of qualifying against
Equatorial Guinea this Saturday for a place at the
finals in Canada 2014.

For Ghana, who have already played at two previous
World Cups since their debut in 2008, the chance
of a third appearance will only happen if they get
good results over both legs against Equatorial
Guinea, who have hopes of reaching their
first-ever world finals at this level.

There are two places on offer as Ghana and
Equatorial Guinea battle for one spot while
Nigeria meet South Africa in the other contest.

Winners after the two-leg ties will represent the
continent at the final later in August of this
year.
