Berekum Chelsea submit final squad for Africa
Berekum Chelsea have named their final squad for
the 2014 CAF Champions League campaign without
influential duo Eric Bekoe and Latif Salifu.

Bekoe, 2008 Ghana Premier League goal king,
suffered a horrible injury in the off-season while
playing with his friends.

He was preparing for a trial session at Finnish
side FC Honka.

The former Petrojet striker has since undergone
surgery and undergoing rehabilitation.

Salifu is out for nine months after tearing an
anterior cruciate ligament injury during a week 2
Ghana Premier League match this season at Amidaus
Professionals.

Berekum Chelsea have drawn Atlabara FC in the
preliminary round qualifier.

Chelsea will host the South Sudanese champions to
the Golden City Park on the weekend of 7-9
February for the first leg clash.

The return leg is scheduled for the weekend
between 14-16 March at the Stade Al-Amal Atbara in
South Sudan.
