Ghana name final 23 for CHAN
Ghana has announced a final 23-man squad for the
African Nations Championship - CHAN that kicks off
in South Africa next week.

Maxwell Konadu, who released his team for the
tournament on New Year's day has kept faith with
three top scorers from the Premier League as Seidu
Bancey, Sulley Mohammed and Samuel Afful all make
the squad.

The home-based national team are based in
Windhoek, Namibia for their pre-competition
preparations.

Ghana are paired in Group C with Libya, Ethiopia
and Congo for the tournament reserved for only
home-based players of member nations.

The 16-nation tournament will kick-off on 11
January and finish on 1 February 2014.
