Kotoko draw third-tier opposition in MTN FA Cup
Asante Kotoko will play away in the Round of 64 in
the MTN FA Cup after the second round draw was
made on Wednesday.

The second round matches will be played between
December 18-23.

Wednesday's draw saw the sixteen premier league
sides who joined the Cup competition after drawing
a bye during the preliminary round matches all
kept apart.

The Porcupine Warriors, two-time losing finalist
in the last three season's will attempt to
progress to the next round when they meet either
Tamale Liberty or Waiga United, both third-tier
sides.

Reigning champions, Medeama's title defence starts
with an away fixture against another third-tier
team, Score FC.

Hearts of Oak were paired with Division One side,
Gold Stars.

The team that emerges as winner of the MTN FA Cup
competes in the CAF Confederations Cup.
