The father says he murdered the boy in order to sell his body parts

Farmer beheads son in Western Region
A 31-year-old farmer, Abdul Salam, has been
arrested at Adidaase near Amanso Amenfi in the
Wassa Amenfi East district of Western Region for
the gruesome murder of his six-year-old son.

The farmer subsequently dismembered the body to
sell the head and legs.

Energy FM’s Nanaba Boakye Ansah reported that an
eyewitness explained that the boy got missing for
days, prompting the unit committee of the area to
mount a search for him.

The father, who was picked up for questioning,
confessed during interrogation that he murdered
the boy in order to sell his body parts.

He was then taken into custody by the Asankragua
Police as further investigations continue.
