IGP Forgives Kennedy Agyapong For Insulting Him
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr John
Kudalor has forgiven New Patriotic Party (NPP)
firebrand Kennedy Ohene Agyapong over his
insulting conduct last week Tuesday during a
political discussion on an Accra-based TV
station.

Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police
Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur who
disclosed this on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame
Adinkra, appealed to politicians to mindful of
their utterances as the country moves to the last
lap of this year’s polls.

“Once he publicly apologized, the IGP has
forgiven him but I will want to urge politicians
to be careful with what they say and at what time.
They should be measured in order not to
destabilize the peace of the country. He has been
forgiven and he should go and sin no more”, he
disclosed.

The maverick lawmaker for Assin Central in the
Central Region, during a TV discussion went
ballistic using all manner of unprintable
adjectives to describe the police chief.

Days after that, he showed remorse and apologized
on Accra-based Oman Fm which belongs to him,
saying “I want to apologise to the IGP for the
attacks on him…he is a friend from Tema but you
know in the heat of things, such things can
happen…so he should forgive me…I have called
but because I have changed my number, he has not
been picking but he should please forgive
me…,”
