Rawlings briefed on Mills funeral arrangements
The President Mills Funeral Planning Committee
called on Ghana’s former President, Flt Lt Jerry
John Rawlings on Monday, to brief him on
arrangements being put in place for the funeral of
the late President.

Led by Nana Ato Dadzie, the delegation presented
the former President with a detailed programme of
activities for the three-day funeral.

Nana Ato Dadzie confirmed that the Funeral
Committee had in conjunction with the family of
the late President worked round the clock to put
together a schedule of events that will give a
befitting farewell to President Mills who passed
away on July 24.

President Rawlings thanked the delegation for
taking time to brief him on details of the funeral
activities.

Other members of the delegation were Ambassador
Kobina Wudu and Mr Bo Amissah. Also at the meeting
were Mr Kofi Adams, spokesperson for the former
President and Mr Kobina Andoh, aide to the former
President.
