Son kills father over cockerel
Residents of Edwenase Kawotrehwe in the
Adansi-South district were shocked when a
disagreement between a father and a son over a
cockerel resulted in the son stabbing the father
to death.

28-year old Isaac Dugadu reportedly stabbed his
51-year-old father thrice with a knife.

New Edubiase Police Commander, DSP Ebenezer
Benson in an interview with XYZ News said constant
arguments had ensued between the two over the
cockerel before the incident.

DSP Benson stated that residents refused to take
the deceased to the hospital and rather resorted
to local medicine leading to the death of the
man.
