Boy, 12, commits suicide with sponge
A 12-year-old class 3 pupil of the Seventh Day
Adventist School in Sunyani has reportedly
committed suicide.

Felix Sakyi is reported to have hanged himself
with a sponge on Wednesday at Ewiaful, Sunyani in
the Brong Ahafo region.

According to the deceased sister Felix refused to
follow her mum to town after opting to stay home.
She added that they returned from town to meet the
lifeless body of Felix in their room.

XYZ News’ Brong Ahafo regional correspondent
Michael Mfum Sarpong added that the body has been
deposited at the Sunyani regional morgue for
autopsy.

Meanwhile, Police in Sunyani are also
investigating the death of a man in a hotel in the
municipality.

Henry Armah was found hanging on a ceiling fan in
one of the hotel rooms he booked.

His body has been deposited at the Sunyani
regional hospital.
